Dean Allyson Vanstone welcomed Director Pradyumna Vyas of the National Institute of Design (NID), a multi-campus university located in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru, India, on his first visit to VCUQatar after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Virginia Commonwealth University.
The new partnership creates a range of opportunities for faculty, students and staff through collaborations and exchanges. Additionally, it expands the reach of each participating campus across three continents—connecting the NID in India to VCUQatar in the Middle East and VCUarts in the United States.
VCUQatar looks forward to engagement with The National Institute of Design. It is our hope that this partnership will enrich our academic communities and foster our shared interest in promoting the reach of design education and the design professions on an international stage.
