Graphic Designer (Memac Ogilvy)


The graphic designer will design and execute art and graphic assignments as part of the Creative team. This is a paid three-month internship to cover transportation fees.

Essential Functions

  • To grasp execution of idea and understand it when identified by others
  • To be familiar with Typography and has a good feeling for its appropriate use
  • To have a practical knowledge of Photography
  • To have a knowledge of Print Production techniques and processes
  • To have a good sense of design and follows the latest trends
  • To have a good knowledge of artwork preparations and its appropriate use for reproduction in various media
  • To ensure hours are written accurately, and fully on time sheets
  • To respect all internal and external appointments
  • To assume all administrative responsibilities for making given duties feasible
  • To have solid knowledge of required languages and the relevant design skills
  • To have a strong grasp of relevant computer skills
  • To invariably meet deadlines


  • Delivers work to brief on time and the quality and quantity required
  • Can identify idea in own work and explain it clearly
  • Strong listening skills to fully understand the brief
  • Is starting to build good relationships with account Management , Production & Traffic
  • Able to articulate their own creative ideas to other team members with support from managers
  • Ability to apply a natural curiosity to uncover the unexpected around brands
  • Ability to generate lots of fresh, original ideas from a brief 
  • Ability to push boundaries of original thinking to explore new creative solutions
  • Beginning to develop a basic knowledge of creative formats
  • Ability to align the copy with art direction and vice versa
  • Ability to translate the strategic creative concept into different creative executions
