This course enables individuals interested in interior design to have hands-on experience through a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) approach for their interiors. From this course, one will be able to work independently and to be efficient with their existing resources to build dream interiors.
Individuals will have fun exploring materials and playing with objects within different spaces. This course will emphasize learning to be creative with existing materials, furniture, and objects and discovering how to make them look trendy and creative yet functional through a DIY makeover.
This highly-focused course introduces online tools to equip individuals to carry on with their design interests outside class. End lesson of this program will enrich students’ understanding of interior design elements by including education in design foundation and by teaching quick and quality DIY interiors.

Participants are required to buy their own materials beforehand and bring them to every class.

Asma Ul Hosna is an Alumna of VCUQ with a major in Interior design. She acquired her Master's from University College of London in Qatar (UCL Qatar) in Museum Studies. She is interested in the transformative aspect of spaces and explores multi-functionality of space through interior design. She has worked in retail design and museum exhibition design. For the past three years, she has been teaching Interior design community classes at VCU Qatar and is working in the field of Art and Culture.
