Biography

Rhys received his BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2003 and his MA in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art in 2009. During his BA Rhys specialized in Screen-printing, Painting and Photography and whilst on his MA his practice examined the philosophy of print and its relationship to the language of new media. This was done with a particular emphasis on communicative media and its impact on interpersonal relationships.

Rhys’ current projects include further development of autonomous artworks through computer programming, collaborating with painting factories in Southern China for the production and outputting of print through painting, a collaboration and exhibition at The National Museum of Wales and group shows in London and New York.
