VCUQ recently held its annual Awards Ceremony. The ceremony is held annually to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of VCUQ students. The ceremony also provides an opportunity for VCUQ donors to meet the recipients of their scholarships.
A large gathering of students, staff, faculty, family members and friends looked on the achievers as they received their certificates and gifts at the grand event.
Throughout the evening students were honored for academic and personal excellence. Dr. Saif Al Hajari, Vice Chairperson, Qatar Foundation praised the dedication of the students and the work of VCUQ in bringing world-class education to Qatar.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of Dean's List for excellence in academic achievement and recognition of students graduating with honors.
"The Awards Ceremony is always a joyous time when we recognize students for their achievements and thank our donors for their generosity and support." noted VCUQ Dean Christina Lindholm.
