Inside Arabic Typography taught by Mohammad Hamady was a journey into the body and spirit of Arabic typeface design with the objective of understanding the discipline, development and application of Arabic type design. The course was geared to enhance the elements of evaluation, creation and usage of Arabic type in both unilingual and bilingual environments.

"I wanted my students to understand the essence of Arabic Typography and the mechanics that make the typefaces work, as well as the aspects of practicality relating to the typefaces, the fact that they should be attractive, readable and applicable. I was amazed by the student's level of understanding. Some of them were not even graphic design students, however their efforts were outstanding and they all grasped the concepts of the usage of Arabic typography in a very short time" explained Mohammad Hamady.

"The concepts of Arabic typography were so interesting and the course was amazing. It made me wish that I had chosen graphic design as my major" added Noora Al Shamlan Interior Design Student.

"The course was so interesting, this was the first time that we have had the opportunity to create our own typefaces" said Mashael Al Sulaiti.
