Library and Tchnology
The VCUQ Library and Information Technology assists students, faculty and staff in fulfilling their educational and professional goals.
The VCUQ Library has a specialized collection of over 16,000 books, magazines, videos and DVDs to support the programs in design arts, art foundation and related areas. Services offered include one-on-one research assistance and small group and classroom bibliographic instruction. Online resources, including the library catalog and over 200 databases, can be accessed through the Library's homepage. Books can be borrowed from other Education City libraries and copies of journal articles and book chapters can be obtained from VCU Richmond.
The Information Technology team directly supports the mission of VCUQ by providing technology-based solutions and support that enhance the teaching/learning process; thus enabling the University to provide a student-centered and technology-rich educational experience for all students. Over 400 computers are supported by Information Technology, as well as all the services hosted at VCUQ such as email, calendars, web and other services.
