Career Development
The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and the faculty in each of the program areas share responsibility for the VCUQatar Career Development Program.
The program relies heavily on the professional backgrounds and experience of faculty. Information is available to help students and alumni identify their skills and interests, explore career alternatives and academic opportunities, develop successful job search strategies and identify potential job openings.
The Career Development Program works to help create a positive professional climate in which VCUQatar students operate. The program works to solicit internship opportunities, maintain contact with members of the local design community, and promote excellence in design as a strategic business tool and as a cultural force.
Students may attend program presentations on a variety of career related topics.
