Hissa Al Garni Becomes Director of Strategic Engagement and Business Development

VCUQatar Dean Dr. Akel I. Kahera said that Hissa “will be responsible for helping us to navigate through Qatar’s rapidly changing economic, professional and business environment that will require proactive and strategic stakeholder engagement to foster constructive dialogues.”

“As the Director of Strategic Engagement and Business Development at VCUQatar, I am committed to the growth and success of our students through developing sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with our business partners locally and internationally,” Hissa said.

Hissa brings over 15 years of experience and expertise with a proven record of leadership, strategy development, team building, financial and relationship management.  Hissa holds a BA degree in English Literature and Education from Qatar University and an executive MBA from HEC Paris-School of Management. Given her enthusiasm for service and her ten-year commitment to VCUQatar, she is eager to begin her new role.
