تعلن جامعة فرجينيا كومنولث في قطر عن طرحها لدورات عطلة الربيع باللغة العربية، سيتم خلال هذا البرنامج تعريف طالبات الثانوية العامة بمهارات الفن واللاتي لديهن الرغبة في تعلم بعض تقنيات الفن والتصميم . يهدف البرنامج لإعطاء فكرة عن مباديء الرسم وصناعة التماثيل الفخارية من الطين و الرسوم المتحركة الكلاسيكية وو رسم الحروف وابتكار الكتب الهزلية. وهذه الدورة للطالبات من عمر 12 عاما
Gain Art and Design Awareness and learn some basic skills. The program covers an introduction to Painting, Hollow Clay Sculpture, Classic Animation, Character Drawing and Comic Book Creating and is open to school girls from the age of 12 to 16.

Crispin Jones: Crossing Boundaries
As part of the Crossing Boundaries Lecture Series, Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar presents a lecture by London-based interaction designer Crispin Jones entitled 'Complicated pleasures'. The lecturer will discuss his personal development over the past decade from making one-off experimental works into producing his own product ranges.
