Mission

The Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar Libraries provide exemplary resources, services, and gateways to information to meet the needs of VCUQatar’s instructional, research and community programs. We provide a link between information and innovation to create critical thinkers and lifelong learners, and to inform new knowledge through art and design.

Vision

VCUQatar Libraries opens doors to learning and discovery. Our welcoming environment inspires scholarship, creativity and exchange of ideas. We anticipate the needs of our community and work to exceed its expectations. We dedicate our expertise to building the best libraries for the VCUQatar of today, and we are committed to growing in partnership with the VCUQatar of tomorrow.
