Turkish Embroidery can be used in daily life at every level of society – for men’s and women’s garments, i.e. robes, kaftans, underclothing, a variety of decorated scarf, shawl, waist coat, cape, handkerchiefs.
However, the most striking examples of Turkish Embroidery can be found within the soft furnishing of any house, i.e. on cushion covers, wall and door curtains, hand towels, cloth coverings, purses, bags, pillows, frames, boxes, etc. In this class you will learn the art of Turkish embroidery and embellishment.
