This course enables individuals interested in interior design to have hands-on experience through a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) approach for their interiors. From this course, one will be able to work independently and to be efficient with their existing resources to build dream interiors.
Individuals will have fun exploring materials and playing with objects within different spaces. This course will emphasize learning to be creative with existing materials, furniture, and objects and discovering how to make them look trendy and creative yet functional through a DIY makeover.
This highly-focused course introduces online tools to equip individuals to carry on with their design interests outside class. End lesson of this program will enrich students’ understanding of interior design elements by including education in design foundation and by teaching quick and quality DIY interiors.

Participants are required to buy their own materials beforehand and bring them to every class.
On occasions, there may be some more materials to be bought and brought in if and when advised by the instructor.

Asma Ul Hosna is an Alumna of VCUQ with a major in Interior design and minor in Art history. She is from Bangladesh and did her post-graduate studies at University College of London in Qatar (UCL Qatar) with a focus on contemporary art and artists. She is currently working as Events and Marketing Officer at Lisha Group, where she is also involved with retail designing.
