Living in Qatar introduces non-Qataris to its culture and tradition from behaviour to live style. One of the majors in the Qatari culture is Abaya wearing. With the mixed identity in the country, Abaya becomes fashionable and desirable for everyone.
In this class, participants will learn the basics regarding Abaya. Students will create the pattern of three different styles of Abaya. Also, they will learn the sewing techniques by hand and machine. In addition to that, the participants will style the Abaya and making a shelah for them.
Prior sewing knowledge is not required for this class.
